L’Ouest Canadien :
I discovered Western Canada late in my life, at 40 years old. Before that moment, I had never set foot there. But the instant I arrived, it felt as if I had stepped inside a giant lung.
A place where everything breathes. Where everything is alive. Where everything is real.
The air was different… clearer, almost sacred. The mountains stood like ancient guardians. The forests whispered stories that existed long before us. The wildlife moved with a quiet royalty, never rushed, never forced.
I felt small, yet free. Humbled, yet whole. As if every element reminded me of something I had always known but lost somewhere along the way.
That’s when I fell in love. Not with one detail, but with the whole. With the unity of the elements, with that raw truth that asks for nothing, yet gives everything.
This journey wasn’t just a getaway. It was the beginning of an inner adventure — a return to myself. A path that still continues every time I close my eyes.
Because Western Canada is not just a place. It is a breath. A reminder. A jewel we all share, a land that brings us back to what matters, that invites us to breathe slower, to listen deeper, to live more fully.
And this guitar, this project, is my way of honoring it. Of capturing that breath, that vastness, that peace and turning it into art. Into vibration. Into emotion.
